"Rainbow Around the Sun" creator Matthew Alvin Brown recently sat down for an interview and performance on the new online music interview program "Static" with George Lang. Matt performed two songs, "Cupcake" and "Miles Around" with original Fellowship Student and new band-mate Sam Caire.

"Rainbow Around the Sun" is returning to Oklahoma screens this weekend, this time presented by the Circle Cinema in Tulsa!

There will be two screenings on Friday night, Dec. 19th, at 7:45 and 9:30PM. Matthew Alvin Brown and other members of the cast and crew will be in attendance for Q&A at both screenings.

The International Premiere

Hello friends, it's been far too long since we last updated you. Thanks to everyone who came to our screening last month as part of the Bumper Crop series at the OKC Museum of Art. For those of you in the Tulsa area, we are hoping to book a screening there sometime this fall, so keep checking back for news on that.

On the international front, "Rainbow" is scheduled to have its international premiere next Tuesday, the 23rd of September at the Athens International Film Festival. Unfortunately we don't have the budget to send anyone to accompany the film, so if any of you happen to be in Greece next week please buy a ticket and let us know how it goes. We're really bummed we don't get to see Matt's lyrics subtitled in Greek!

Also, we are honored to screen this weekend at the Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival. "Rainbow" will have two screenings: Thursday Sept. 18th at 8:00PM, and Saturday, Sept. 20th at 7:00PM.

Directors Beau and Kevin are in New York this week for Independent Film Week, exploring our options for distribution. If all goes according to plan, we hope to have a game plan for getting "Rainbow" out to the world very soon.

deadCENTER

We're just about recovered from our hometown run at the deadCENTER Film Festival. What a time! Not only did we have 650 people show up for our outdoor screening on Wednesday, but 200 hundred more showed up two days later for our "proper" screening at the Museum of Art. The response was incredible and we had a great Q&A afterwards.

To top it all off, Saturday night we were selected as the "Best Oklahoma Film" of the year! Thanks to the Oklahoma Film and Music Office for this honor.

We hope to have another screening in OKC as well as one in Tulsa later in the summer, so keep checking back for updates.

Well, that happened.

We were all kinds of nervous/excited about our hometown premiere last night.

Would people come? Would they be willing to bring their own chairs to watch a movie in the street? Would the Oklahoma wind blow our screen into the crowd, killing dozens?

Luckily the amazing tech crew had the screen strapped down tight enough to withstand a tornado, and more than 650 of you fine people came and took over Film Row for the premiere of "Rainbow Around the Sun"!

Let me say that again. Over 650 people.

We are blown away. Humbled. Honored.

It makes us happy that so many folks would come out to support our little rock opera, and even happier that so many of you had a great time. If you were here right now we'd kiss ya.

Thanks, Oklahoma City. We've never been prouder to call you home.
